I'm a veteran on the games development platform 'Roblox' ever since I stumbled upon it aged 9. With over 10 years of self-taught game development experience, I have a popular game series known as Vampire Hunters. In total this game series has over 70+ million play sessions with hundreds of thousands of favourites and its own toy set partnered with the Roblox team and Jazwares.

Vampire Hunters 3 is a free-to-play multiplayer action-survival game enjoyed by a consistent fanbase enjoyed by thousands of players every day. It is PvP and involves teamplay between the humans and a randomly selected vampire. Players are free to choose their playstyle with many different gadgets, perks - and for vampires: power abilities.

From guns, baseball bats, knives and slingshots, to medkits, holy water and smoke bombs, there is a huge display of content to keep it fresh and mix it up over and over again in a variety of level and gamemode scenarios. VH3 began development as early as 2017 and was in continuous development through final release in 2023.
Designer Responsibilities

Vast player-to-player interaction through multiplayer combat & teamwork.

Level design to support combative gameplay and hiding, including map interaction (lighting, alternate routes through doors and destructibility)

Designing, balancing and reworking gadgets/abilities to improve usefulness & fairness.

Game patches to add new content and cosmetics to captivate playerbase.

Fluid and satisfying movement systems and gunplay

Parkour mechanics such as crawling, diving, climbing & vaulting structures.

Gun behaviours including customisation and recoil patterns.

The Level Design
A huge role of creating this game was designing levels. In addition to working alongside community members in creating maps, I created half of them by myself! Here is one recent good example of what I have made.
Survivor's Hideout
The lonesome hideout situated in the outback desert of western Australia. This is home to the AVHD-B (Aussie Vampire Hunting Division-B) where taskforce is deployed upon the awakening of the dark vampiric forces around the world. Its location is a tactical advantage, being out in the middle of nowhere with little cover for tens of miles for vampires to hide from daylight.
Map Overview
My intentions with creating this map was as follows:

To strike a balance between scale and density of hiding spots - vampires need to be able to scout around the map to find hiding humans

To provide ample cover from lines of sight - as this map features longer more open spaces and corridors, diegetic props and furnishings are strategically placed!

And of course to be visually appealing and provide story development for the setting of the game world.
